This Winchester manufactured receiver is for the field grade model 12 slide action takedown shotgun in 20 gauge and is in good condition exhibiting a mixture of brown patina and gun metal gray with a few specks of rust and perhaps some traces of original blue finish in the protected areas. This receiver is the only part on the model 12 shotgun that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photo)
